Rhode Island School of Design is approved to certify the enrollment of eligible veterans and dependents receiving educational benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). RISD also participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Yellow Ribbon Program. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. § 3679(e), students utilizing VA educational benefits will not be assessed penalties, including late fees or registration restrictions, as a result of delays in VA tuition and fee payments. Students intending to use GI Bill® benefits must submit a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to the Registrar's Office at least two months prior to the start of their first semester.
